Its own means of removing refrigerant from appliances and is capable of reaching the required recovery rates whether or not the appliance compressor is operable:

a. Self-contained or active recovery equipment;
b. Passive recovery equipment only;
c. No recovery equipment required;
d. Any recovery equipment is acceptable.
