[tex] m = \dfrac{-3 - 4}{7 - (-7)} [/tex]

[tex] m = \dfrac{-7}{14} [/tex]

[tex] m = -\dfrac{1}{2} [/tex]

Answer: The slope is -1/2.

Slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (4-(-3))/(-7-7) = 7/(-14)= -1/2  or -0.5
