Hi there!

Using the formula 

[tex]C(n, r) = \frac{n!}{(r!(n-r)!)} [/tex] 

n = # of objects
r = the sample of objects

Plug in 16 for n and 6 for r to get

[tex]C(16, 6) = \frac{16!}{(6!(16-6)!)} [/tex] 

Now solving this equation will give you 8008 combinations as your answer.
