1st Find lowest common denominator:

3*(1/2) + 2*(2/3)
3/6 + 4/6

Now all you have to do is add the numerator - the denominator stays the same through the addition process:

(3 + 4)/6 = 7/6 = 1 1/6

Hope That Helped =D
