Mia’s goal was an average of 97 on her four tests. She scored a 94, 98, 99, and 97. Did she meet her goal?

To find out if she met her goal, add the test scores and then divide by 4:

[tex]\frac{94+98+99+97}{4}=\frac{388}{4}=97[/tex]

Since the average of her test scores is 97, she had met her goal.
