To compare you will have to turn 4/7 into a decimal as well. 4/7 as a decimal is 0.57142857. Depending if the teacher wants you to round to the nearest tenth the answer would be 4/7 is equal to 0.57 if she does not want you to round and wants the whole decimal the answer will be 4/7>0.57.
