2.75 as a fraction or mixed number is 2 and 3/4. I know this because in order to change a decimal to a fraction, you must put the decimal over its place value, in this case 100. Then you keep the whole number. So you then have 2 and 75/100. 25 goes into both 75 and 100, making that what you would simplify by. 75÷25=3 and 100÷25=4. So you get 2 and 3/4.
