Feudalism was a very simple system, the most dominant and effective during medieval times. The feudal system was considered to be the most effective for the time because, under this system, the king had complete control and the guarantee of greater security. This system helped to build the structure of society around relationships that allowed vassals to have a piece of land in exchange for military protection and loyalty given to the king and lords.
