6x + 6 + 39 = -3x

Given :

[tex]\heartsuit[/tex]  6x + 6 + 39 = -3x

Rearranging like terms and constants we get :

[tex]\heartsuit[/tex]  (6x + 3x) + (6 + 39) = 0

[tex]\heartsuit[/tex]  9x + 45 = 0

[tex]\heartsuit[/tex]  9x = -45

[tex]\heartsuit[/tex]  x = -5
