120 gallons/min * 60 minutes/hour = 120*60 gallons/hour

7200 gallons/hour

The easiest way to do this is by using dimensional analyis.  That way we cancel out the units.


[tex]\frac{120gal}{1min}\times \frac{60min}{1hr}= 7200[/tex]

This rate is 7200 gal/hr
