Most people would say thermometer, but really the answer is a laser thermometer because a thermometer would take at least like 30 minutes to get a temperature, while a laser thermometer would take 5 seconds. Press the trigger and the laser beam hits a wall, or whatever you wanna take the temp. of and you got the temp.
