George Orwell was born in India in 1903 but grew up in England. It is interesting to mention that he was a police man for five years. He wrote many books like Homage to California and 1984. In the latter, he criticizes governments and speaks the mere truth of how they manipulate citizens. He also warns people about possible danger and how the power of the state can be used to change the reality that was thought to be true.
