Answer

Find out the 6th term in the geometric series.

To prove

As given the geometric series be

[tex]a_{n} = 3\times 4^{n -1}[/tex]

Put n = 6 in the above equations

Thus

[tex]a_{6} = 3\times 4^{6 -1}[/tex]

[tex]a_{6} = 3\times 4^{5}[/tex]

[tex]a_{6} = 3\times 1024[/tex]

[tex]a_{6} = 3072[/tex]

Therefore the 6th term of the geometric series is 3072 .

Thus option (A) is correct.
