If a wave is traveling 100 m/s and has the wavelength of .002, what is the frequency of the wave?

Frequency = (wave speed) / (wavelength)

Frequency = (100 m/s) / (0.002 meters)

Frequency = (100/0.002) (meter / meter-second)

Frequency = 50,000 / second  (That's 50,000 Hz or 50 KHz)
