8 ( x - 3 ) = *8x + -24* or *8x - 24* (theyre the same thing) what You do is just distribute the 8 to ALL numbers inside parantheses. Hence, 8 times x is *8x* and 8 times a negative -3 is *-24*. Hope i helped!
