Induction method of charging is the process in which charge is temporary shifted and gets positive or negatively charged at one end while other end get opposite charge as per the conditions of external applied field

So here in this process of charging the charge is not permanent and as soon as external field is removed the charge of conductor again disappear

So correct answer is given as

Charge can shift throughout the object but they can not escape
