The central claim should consist of 1 to 2 sentences the central claim should not be longer than 1 to 2 sentences because then it's hard to understand your thesis statement. Once you have made a central claim, which is the idea of the passage, list examples for why your central claim is founded. Then start in on your first body paragraph.
