you can find the slope of this line by seeing how much change occurs. 2-1,6-4 therefore 1,2 rise over run. so the slope is 2. if we have the point 1,4 and we know the slope is 2 then we know it passes through 0,2 this is the y intercept. therefore y=2x +2
