Answer:i would say that Athena became active in trying to get Odysseus home, also by giving his son the courage to go in search for him.

Explanation:

Athena pleaded with the gods, both zeus and posidon who was angry at him. Also without Athena's prodding, Odysseus wouldn't have left Calypso's island.

After she argued in the olympian court, she convinced them to allow hermes go for calypso to release him.

Odyssues didn't have much credit, but to his character. He was mainly just in a helpless situation.
