Ronald Wilson Reagan was the 40th president of the United States. He was born on February 6, 1911, in Illinois. Although his parents did not have a lot of money, he was a very friendly kid in school.

In 1980 Ronald won the election for U.S. president. As president, he focused on making the government smaller and the military stronger. He also worked hard to improve relations with the Soviet Union.
