Point slope formula:
[tex]y-y_1=m(x-x_1) [/tex]
We know that:
y1=-1
x1=2
m=-5
So we plug those into the formula
[tex]y-(-1)=-5(x-2) [/tex]
negative + negative= positive so..
Final answer:
[tex]y+1=-5(x-2) [/tex]

point slope form
y-y1=m(x-x1) where
m=slope and you are given a point (x1,y1)

slope=-5
point is (2,-1)
x1=2
y1=-1
m=-5

so
y-(-1)=-5(x-2)
y+1=-5(x-2) is answer
