What would happen to an organism if its heart cells stopped working properly?

Most likely the organism will not be able to survive longer. The organism will die. The heart is one of the most important part of an organism. It is the organ that pumps blood through out the body of an organism. So, when the cells die then most likely the heart cannot function as it is.
