I don't believe so however humans seek pleasure and good feelings and that is quite natural and could be stated as a basic human attribute, but needs are things like shelter, water, food, air.
Intoxication is not a human need, it brings pleasure and can benefit somebody with their mood but it is also temporary and can lead to problems like addiction to alcohol. It’s a choice but however not a need like oxygen or water to keep people alive.
