To find equivalent fractions, you have to find a a divisor that both the numerator and denominator has. Then you divide the numerator and denominator by that divisor.
Example: 9 and 15 are divisible by 3.
9 is the numerator.9 divided by 3 is 3. so the numerator of the equivalent fraction is now 3.
15 is the denominator. 15 divided by 3 is 5. the denominator is now five.
