Answer:

f(x)= x+bx+5

f(1) = 1+ b(1) +5 =0

f(1) = 6 +b =0

6+b=0

b=-6

so we get,

f(3)= 3 -6(3)+5

f(3) = 3-18+5

f(3) = -10
