You would have 7 dimes and 9 nickels, this is because 

5n +10d = 115           n + d = 16
n = 23 - 10d               n = 16 - d

23 - 10d = 16 -d 
7 = 9d
7/9 = d

Therefore there is 7 dimes and 9 nickels
