What is the difference in being creative in doing science and being creative doing pseudoscience?

Being creative in science means trying various different research types or experiments to figure things out. Being creative in pseudoscience means trying to cast new spells or to turn metals into gold or to work only on certain days that fit your horoscope or anything similar like that.
