  • it doesn't discriminate people based on their caste, colour, race, creed, religion, culture, etc.
  • It gives proper right to all citizens capable of taking the right decisions (i.e., citizens above 18 years of age) to vote for their leaders.
  • People will be more comfortable and happier if the people who lead them and represent them are selected by them.
