(-2,8) and (3,-7) are the points that i chose to find the slope with.
you subtract y2 and y1 and put that over x2 minus x1. this is how you find the rise over run. and then you divide the rise by the run. so rise over run for this equation is -15/5. divide that and you get your slope, -3
answer: -3
