A cat is chasing a rat and moving at 0.8m per 2 seconds. Continuing at the same rate, the cat will have moved __ m in 3 seconds.

This is because if u divide .8 by 2 it equals .4 ... .4 is how much is runs per 1 second. So .4 times 3 = .12m

And, the time taken should be 3 seconds

So, here the distance should be

= 0.8/2 * 3

= 0.4*3

= 0.12m
