[tex]2x - 5 = x + 3[/tex]

[tex]2x - x = 3 + 5[/tex]

[tex]x = 8[/tex]

Substitute x = 8 in any equations given. I will use x+3.

[tex]y = x + 3[/tex]

[tex]y = 8 + 3[/tex]

[tex]y = 11[/tex]

Therefore, the answer is (8,11)
