Humans have much evolved since then, we can grow our own plants, we dont have any predators, etc...
Humans painted on walls for religous purposes, symbolic reasons, and most importantly, to make others remember animals that could hunt them. We don't have any predators in this age, and can distinguish dangerous animals from calmer ones. Paintings were a way to communicate easier. Now, we have translators and can talk to each other without needing to draw on caves.
