Combine Like terms: 17 + 3a + 4b-5c-a +30

To combine like terms you want to only add or subtract the numbers with matching variables.

So 3a and -1a create 2a.

4b is the only b variable.

-5c is alone.

And 17 and 30 add to 47.

So our answer put in order would be:

2a+4b-5c+47
