Likely trying to find an individuality within the societal standards for my gender. I could have an opinion on politics that wouldn’t matter since I can’t vote, I could have the finances to pay for a home but that wouldn’t mean one would be sold to me.. thinking of the privilege women have in modern day compared to those in the 1800’s is huge.
