It is false because a marine biome would be something like underwater and most animals cannot breathe underwater. Much less plants. Too much water in the system will kill them. Marine plants have certain salt like things that kind of repel the water and that's why they don't take in so much water but normal plants don't have that so they would die pretty quick.
