In math, when you see the word "of" it usually means "times".

So the question is:

        2/3 times something = 10

Multiply each side of the equation by 3 :

             2 times something = 30

Divide each side by 2 :

                          something = 15
If you want to calculate the fraction of the number, multiply this number by the fraction:

[tex]\frac{2}{3}\times?=10[/tex]

therefore

[tex]?=10:\frac{2}{3}=10\times\frac{3}{2}=5\times3=\boxed{15}[/tex]
