To find the vertical asymptote, equate the denominator equal to 0.

We have,

[tex]F(x)=\dfrac{1}{x+2}[/tex]

Denominator is (x+2).

[tex]x+2=0[/tex]

[tex]x=-2[/tex]

The vertical asymptote is [tex]x=-2[/tex].

Therefore, the correct option is B.
