The number of tomato plants Jeff planted went from 4 last year to 12 this year. Find the percent increase.​

We find the difference, then divide that by the original. 12-4/4 = 8/4 = 2
Multiply by 100 to get the percentage, = 200%

Also, adding 4 would be a 100% increase, and adding 8 is twice that, so 200%.
