The area of a triangle is equal half times base times height ([tex]A= \frac{1}{2} *b*h[/tex]). As we need height in this situation, we can solve for height. To do this, multiply both sides by 2, 2A=bh, then divide both sides by b, (2A)/b=h. Now, plug in your known values and solve. [tex]h= \frac{2*8}{1/4} =16*4=64[/tex]. This means you have a height of 64 meters.
