this is be because a rectangle is parralel so opposite ends will have equal sides, if you were to graph this, there would be a missing point in the spot (1,-8).
Each of the set of points; (-7,8) and (-7,-8) is reflecting over either the x or y-axis. So therefore the second set of points would be (1,8) and (1,-8).
