The price of a calculator has decreased from $200 to $150. What is the percentage of decrease?

To work out percentage change you use the following formula:
((original price - new price)/original price)x100. In this case:
((200-150)/200)x100
(50/200)x100
0.25x100
25
Therefore it is a 25% decrease.
