Most likely A, stoicism. There is a good example of this in his dialogue with Messala and Cassius in Act 4, Scene 3.

When Brutus gets the news of Portia´s death he just says that we all must die, and that now he can endure war with one thing less to worry about. He knows his fate and that he might be dead soon too.
