Answer:

[tex]12 - 6x > 24[/tex]

subtract 12 from either sides:

[tex](12 - 6x) - 12 > 24 - 12 \\ - 6x > 12[/tex]

divide either sides by -6, the inequality sign will change:

[tex] \frac{ - 6x}{ - 6} > \frac{12}{ - 6} \\ \\ { \boxed{ \boxed{x < - 2}}}[/tex]
