the two - signs cross eachother out, making it a +.

making the equation -1.3=x-(-13.2) turn into -1.3=x+13.2.

so you should automatically know your x is going to have to be negative.

What I did:

13.2+1.3=14.5,

but since the 1.3 was actually negative, (-1.3) the 14.5 will turn negative, making it -14.5
