As [tex]R → R[/tex] is defined by [tex]f(x) = x[/tex] and [tex]g(x) = x[/tex],

So, [tex]f[/tex] and [tex]g[/tex]have the same domain. Therefore,

[tex](fog)(x) = f(g(x)) = f(x) = x[/tex]
