The area of a trapezoid is:
[tex]A_{trapezoid}=\frac{1}{2}h(b_{1}+b_{2})[/tex]
So let's plug numbers in:
[tex]A_{trapezoid}=\frac{1}{2}*4(4.2+6.1) = 20.6m^{2}[/tex]
