56 / 4 = A
A = 14 meters

First & foremost you have to find the sides of the square
Since it's a square, all of the sides are equal:
[tex]56/4=14[/tex], so each side is 14m
Next you have to find the area of the square which is:
[tex]A=a^2[/tex], so plug in each side and you should get:
[tex]A=14^2[/tex], which is equal to:
[tex]A=196[/tex]
