The length of a string in yards is a function ƒ(n) of the length n in inches. Write a function rule for this situation.

There are 12 inches in a foot, and 3 feet in a yard, so there are 36 inches in one yard which means that yards = inches/36. So the answer should be: 

f(n) = n/36
