What is the value of g[f(3)] for the functions f(x) = 3x - 5 and g(x) = x + 1? I'm drawing a blank on this one.

Here, f(x) = 3x - 5

f(3) = 3(3) - 5

f(3) = 9 - 5 = 4

Now, g(x) = x +1

g[f(3)] = 4 + 1

g[f(3)] = 5

In short, Your Answer would be: 5
