Explain what might happen if a plant cell was to lose its chloroplasts.

If the plant lost it's chloroplasts, it would lose it's green coloring. It would also wither and die, because the chloroplasts are a plant's main source of food. This is because the chloroplast is the source of photosynthesis, or the process of turning sunlight into food. Glad to help!
